Roles & Responsibilities

After I relocated to Sydney, Australia (from Feb '14 until Mar '14) I joined PM-Partners group and got allocated to Westpac, one of their clients and a big four Australian bank, which embarked on an ambitious $30M program of work to consolidate 44,000 users across its disparate collaboration platforms (LotusNotes, GroupWise, Blackberry, etc.), onto a single private cloud environment(Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, and Citrix XenMobile). Reporting to the Program Director, my role was to assist various work streams to improve their project management and delivery capabilities through improved scheduling, dependency management, risk management, issue management and projected financial reporting in a highly regulated environment.

“I've worked with Andre on a very complex, company wide project with various high level stakeholders. Andre's insights and support, as well as, highly professional approach to the complexities of the project led to finding appropriate solutions, which we would otherwise struggle to find. Andre's high quality of work has simplified many processes in a heavily regulated environment of the bank.”

“André is a knowledgeable, detailed and thorough PMO Manager who works with a minimal amount of oversight and who gets the job done. All my dealings with André were positive – he engages stakeholders with a simple and easy manner and managed to find his way around the Westpac organization with a minimum of fuss or assistance. I would happily recommend André to any other organization requiring a self-sufficient, practical and knowledgeable PMO manager. He is also great fun and adds positive energy to the team environment.”
